Friday’s Links

Confession:  I’m addicted to the news.  I don’t know why, but every work break I spend about 15 minutes reading through online news articles.  So, I’ve made the executive decision that on Fridays I will offer you a few links of interesting articles that I’ve read throughout the week.  For people like my wife, who has no clue about what’s going on in the world outside of her home, perhaps this will be helpful. One of the interesting pieces of news I posted yesterday.  Here are a few more from today:

Scientists “may” have found how life began.  Interestingly, there seems to be more faith attached to a non-Creator theory of life’s origin.  This one’s reaching a little.

Urban Meyer might be leaving the swamp for South Bend!  I think he’d be great for that program.  I really, really do.  I wouldn’t even mind a little UGA v. Notre Dame action on a neutral site.

Speaking of Notre Dame, maybe you’ve heard that there’s a little controversy surrounding their commencement ceremony tomorrow.  If you haven’t, you can check it out here.

For those of you that are about the Kingdom, this article was interesting to me.  After spending some time in the Middle East last summer, I’m pretty confident that only The Way can bring peace!

My favorite read of the week was this article by Malcolm Gladwell.  Part of the reason I love it so much is b/c it discusses David and Goliath.  Anything he’s written is worth reading, including his three published books.  I haven’t finished Outliers yet, but so far, it’s awesome.
